Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description Newtown Development is looking for a Assistant Superintendent to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible to support the Lead Superintendent and Project Manager in the successful completion of assigned projects.
The candidate will participate in overseeing job site safety, quality, project scheduling, and communications with the architect and consultants on field and constructibility issues.
Responsibilities Assist in managing the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.
Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communication.
Assist with setting up job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.
Participate in the review all project documents for constructibility and content, including shop drawings.
Maintain and update project records Assist with creating and enforcing a site-specific emergency action plan for assigned projects in collaboration with the Project Manager.
In collaboration with the Lead Superintendent perform daily job site walks and submit daily safety audit reports.
Assist with the management of job site manpower production and performance.
Use project management and scheduling software effectively.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience Multi-Family experience preferred but not required Strong experience in AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$70,000.
00 - $90,000.
