Providence Hall is looking for a food services staff member to join our team at the high school.
Essential Job Functions:
Monitor students during breakfast and/or lunch.
Use the school's positive behavior intervention system to reward students.
Wipe and clean tables.
Sweep under tables.
Assist students during meal times with items needing to be opened.
Assist with breaking down the cafeteria tables.
Collaborate with colleagues to support the food services department and school in general.
Maintain effective communication channels to ensure a collaborative school community.
Actively participate in assigned meetings, professional developments, and other trainings.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
an even temper, positive and effective interpersonal skills, and good work ethic.
the capacity to perform all the essential job functions listed in this posting.
Must be able to work in a loud, noisy environment around many adolescents.
obtain a Food Handler's permit within 2 weeks of starting work.
pass a background check.
lift up to 50 lbs.
, traverse school facility, and lead students to safety in the event of an emergency.
