Ruthie and Sage was opened in 2011 by a young mother who loves to sew and still has a huge passion for her business.
It has currently grossed over $1.
2 million since conception, and does roughly 100-150k in sales a year, give or take.
Producing roughly 33,000 individual products as of September 2023, this has been the passion project of Owner and Founder Britni Tye.
Her focus is the design of custom blankets and print designs to fit the needs of the customers.
Products are all 'made to order' so strict deadlines must be met.
Ruthie and Sage is looking to bring on a Seamstress to help meet the demand of their custom orders.
We are looking to expand business and put a heavy emphasis on marketing this year.
This will be a 100% remote position but will require weekly pick-up of materials and drop off completed orders for shipping.

You work on your own time, just need to meet production deadlines.
Remote.
This is a 100% work from home situation.
1099 Position.
Be paid for exactly what you do! Equates to $25
per hour.
This will be discussed in the interview.
Requirements:
Ideally 3
years of experience sewing in a production/ Seamstress/ Tailoring/ Alteration capacity but willing to be flexible depending on your capabilities.
This work is primarily with minky and satin and you must have advanced experience working with these fabrics, or willing to practice on your own until you feel comfortable.
Sewing also requires some untraditional sewing techniques (ie flat edge binding on a minky and satin blanket) that ideally would be learned quickly.
Must be assertive, self-starter, able to meet deadlines.
A non-compete contract must be signed.
Ability to drive to pick up materials and drop off completed products to Herriman, UT.
Must have your own sewing machine.
Serger and thread for both machines will be provided.
Business may start relatively slow, but will pickup speed in the near future.
Must be willing to be patien and grow with the company.
No smoking.
Pets need to stay out of work area.
No exceptions.
