You know how companies have someone run background checks on their new employees? Well we are that someone! Our job is to find out if the person that a company wants to hire has a criminal record or was honest on their job application. We search criminal court records to find criminal hits, send the new employees to clinics to take drug tests, and find out if they actually worked for the companies that they say they've worked for. Companies count on us to tell them if the person they want to hire is safe to hire. That is a pretty big responsibility which we take seriously -- but we also have fun while we do it!
ProScreening is different than most companies. We are local to Utah, and we don't run our business with the typical red tape and we do things this way because we've always done them this way mentality. We're innovative, techy, and we don't mind change. We work with several types of software programs to process background checks more efficiently. We stand out to our clients with our customer service because we are friendly, helpful, and we care enough to be masters of our line of business. Don't worrywe will train you to be a Jedi as well.
We are located just a few minutes off of Mountain View Corridor in Herriman. Our office is about 20 minutes or less from most of: West Jordan, South Jordan, Riverton, Bluffdale, Draper and within 30 minutes from Sandy, Saratoga Springs, and Eagle Mountain. Stop commuting on i-15 and take an easier route to work with us!

Responsible for verifying employment and education as part of candidate resumes. Other duties may also be assigned.
Responsibilities
Specific job duties:
Process employment verifications to verify information contained on job applications for clients
Research company websites to locate phone numbers.
Verify education credentials candidates have provided on their job application.
Call references listed on employment applications
This is outbound calls only and doesn't require any cold calling or sales. This is definitely the most pleasant call center type job available
Qualifications
Essential Skills: Yes, you have to have these skills. They are essential to your and our happiness.
Very comfortable using computers and new kinds of computer software/programs
Great written and oral communication skills
Extremely detail-oriented and accurate in your work
Able to confidently work on your own, but willing to ask for help when necessary
Able to prioritize and structure daily tasks according to workflow
General computer proficiency - great with Microsoft Word, the internet, Gmail, and Excel
Comfortable being on the phone handing calls with businesses
Independent problem solving and working through processes
Able to learn new information quickly
Education Required:
Required: High School Diploma/GED. Preferred: College Attendance or Completion. Knowledge with court case terminology, background checks, and Human Resources a plus.
Experience Required:
2 years experience working in Customer Service, Sales, Criminal Justice, Data Entry, or related field required.
